Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle has urged fans to believe they can win the Premier League.
Spurs take on Chelsea on Monday night as they look to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
The north London side have 26 points, managing eight victories and two draws under new boss Ange Postecoglou.
Hoddle hailed his former club and touched on the energy inside the stadium, insisting fans must believe they can win a first Premier League title.
“Every Spurs fan who is listening, keep believing, keep believing,” Hoddle told talkSPORT.
“Believe that you can go and win the league. You have a choice, a free wheel of a choice, why go Spursy and say ‘the bubble is going to burst’?
“They can believe and let them keep believing, and let the players go and do their job.”
The match, live on talkSPORT, will see Mauricio Pochettino return to north London as manager of his former side’s bitter rivals.
He spent five years at Spurs and guided them to four successive top-four Premier League finishes and the 2019 Champions League final.
Hoddle added: “I really think he is going there at the right time.
“I think if Spurs were struggling in the league, I think it might be different [on his reception].
“I think they will look at it, they love Ange, love the way the team is playing, and be up for this game.
“I think the fans will give Pochettino a fantastic reception, and so they should.
“He [Pochettino] is a lovely guy, a smashing guy and deserves a real good reception.”
