Glenn Hoddle chose the worst possible time to drop off the line when speaking to talkSPORT’s Sports Breakfast show.
In a hilarious moment, the 61-year-old went silent when asked about his health, much to the horror of co-host Ally McCoist.
Hoddle has made a full recovery since suffering a cardiac arrest at the BT Sport studios in October.
But McCoist was left anxious by the lack of response from the Tottenham legend.

“Whatever you do Glenn, please give us a call back,” the Scotsman joked.
“Holy smokes, I can’t relax.”
After a few minutes, Hoddle phoned back, and McCoist could not contain his relief.
“Glenn, you’ve got no idea how glad we are to have you back,” he said.
