Glenn Hoddle has told talkSPORT there is no way back for Jose Mourinho at Manchester United due to the ongoing turmoil in the dressing room.
There are question marks over Mourinho’s future in charge at Old Trafford after the club’s worst start to a season in 29 years.
The ‘Special One’ is reported to have fallen out with a number of players, which now appears to include wing-back Antonio Valencia, and few expect him to see out the season.
And Hoddle in one of them, with the Tottenham legend saying Man United’s talented squad appear to be ‘playing with chains on’ under Mourinho.
United’s players have looked lacklustre and toothless in recent games“I don’t see him turning it round,” Hoddle said on Thursday’s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
“United have got to think very deeply how they are going to deal with this. They don’t want to sack him – he’s just signed a new contract!
“To me, it seems 50 per cent of that group of players are not really chomping on the bit or enjoying their football.
“They’ve not doing it for their manager.

“They should be doing it for themselves and the club, and if they like the manager and they do it for the manager as well that’s an added bonus.
“But I don’t see that at the moment.
“United look as though they are playing with chains on.”
