Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle was almost toppled over as he celebrated Tottenham’s last-gasp winner against Ajax which booked their place in the club’s first ever Champions League final.
Hoddle and former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand lost control in the BT Sport studio, as Lucas Moura scored his crucial hat-trick goal in the sixth minute of added time to complete a stunning comeback in Amsterdam.
Easy there, Rio, the man’s just recovered from a heart attack!
It was another miraculous performance from an English club, following Liverpool’s comeback from 3-0 down to beat Barcelona on Tuesday night.
Spurs also found themselves 3-0 down on aggregate after Ajax scored twice at home, but Moura was Spurs’ saviour with three exceptionally well-taken goals to put Tottenham in dream land.
And it was too much for all-time Tottenham great Hoddle, who went wild with his fellow pundits when the Brazilian’s third went in.
In a longer video posted on social media, Ferdinand appeared to realise that, in his passion, he’d just shoved the 61-year-old in the chest.
But Hoddle appeared too speechless to care as he screamed: “GET IN THERE YOU BEAUTIES!”
